The Bengals today signed CB Torry McTyer off of the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad and placed CB Darius Phillips on the Reserve/Injured list.

McTyer (5-11, 188), a third-year player out of Nevada-Las Vegas, was originally a college free agent signee of the Miami Dolphins in 2017. He was with the Dolphins through the 2019 preseason, and then was waived at final cuts and signed to Kansas City's practice squad on Sept. 2. He has played in 22 career games, and has 30 tackles and three passes defensed.

Phillips, a second-year player, suffered a left knee injury in Sunday's game at Buffalo. He had played in all three games for the Bengals this season and had one tackle and an interception on defense, and six kickoff returns for 137 yards (22.8).
