"Learning Is Cool" is an educational incentive program that rewards students for strong academic performance.

The program is designed to encourage approximately 28,000 1st-8th grade students in Cincinnati Public Schools, North College Hill City Schools, and Middletown City Schools, as well as 1st-12th grade students in Covington Independent Public Schools to make the "A" Honor Roll each quarter. Students who make the "A" Honor Roll at least two quarters of the year are recognized at an end of the year event in June.

At the event, Coach Marvin Lewis and participating Bengals players will reward them for their efforts. For the 2013-2014 school year, 13 Bengals players have committed to being a part of the program: Clint Boling, Robert Geathers, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Leon Hall, Kevin Huber, Michael Johnson, Terence Newman, Mike Nugent, Cedric Peerman, Domata Peko, Vinny Rey, Dennis Roland and Andrew Whitworth.

At the beginning of the school year, each student receives a "Learning Is Cool" kickoff gift along with a letter from Coach Lewis. Quarterly rewards are issued for students who make the "A" Honor Roll. Rewards have included buttons, bracelets, temporary tattoos, water bottles, dog tags, lanyards, inflatable footballs, mini-footballs, posters, folders, notebooks, lunch totes, gift cards and sunglasses. Teachers and principals also earn end-of-the-year rewards based on Learning Is Cool student performance.
