MLCF looking for scholarship applicants

The Marvin Lewis Community Fund is still looking for scholarship applicants through April 30. The Marvin Lewis Scholarship Fund recognizes outstanding student-athletes from our region. Candidates are evaluated on a 1,000-word essay, minimum 2.75 grade point average, financial need, proven commitment to the community and a varsity letter in any sport. Click here to apply.

Additionally, the MLCF will be awarding the Sharon Thomas Memorial Scholarship to two deserving students. Candidates for the both scholarships are evaluated on a 1,000-word essay, minimum 2.25 grade point average, proven commitment to the community, financial need, earn a varsity letter in any sport or proof of club/extracurricular involvement.

One candidate will be selected that meets the criteria and comes from a single-parent home in Greater Cincinnati. The second scholarship will recognize a student who meets the criteria from the Greater Cincinnati region who has faced the adversity of a mother or caretaker affected by breast cancer. Whether their mother (or caretaker) is battling the disease, has beaten the disease or unfortunately has passed away due to complications caused by the disease. 

Proceeds from the Pink Out at Paul Brown Stadium in March fund the Sharon Thomas Memorial Scholarship. Click here to apply before April 30.
