Join Chinedum Ndukwe on Tuesday, September 29, at Whole Foods Market's Rookwood Commons location in Cincinnati. Whole Foods will donate five percent of the day's net sales to THE NDUKWE FOUNDATION.
The hard-hitting Bengals defensive back hopes that you will come out and support his newly formed foundation that is dedicated to engaging youth in activities that educate them about the benefits of eating healthy, staying active, and setting goals that will help them achieve optimal wellness.
Ndukwe has partnered with Whole Foods Market in the Kentucky and Ohio region in an effort to improve the health and wellness of the surrounding communities. In exchange for his efforts, Whole Foods will donate five percent of Tuesday's net sales to the Ndukwe Foundation. The foundation's principles are a direct reflection of Ndukwe's increasing desire to optimize nutrition and physical activity within the local youth. An avid supporter of instilling proper lifestyle habits at an early age, Ndukwe's first goal is to promote healthy eating initiatives.
"The Ndukwe Foundation is extremely grateful to receive a portion of Tuesday's sales from Whole Foods. Such partnerships enable us to give back to the youth in both Kentucky and Ohio in every possible way to ensure a more balanced, healthy way of life," Ndukwe said. "We are dedicated to educating schools, families and communities on the importance of wellness achieved through healthy eating and active living that has been so imperative in both my life and my career."
Chinedum and fellow Cincinnati Bengals teammates will be signing autographs and promoting the Ndukwe Foundation on Tuesday, September 29 from 5 – 6 p.m. at the Whole Foods Market, 2693 Edmondson Road in Cincinnati. Shoppers will have a chance to register for a $500 pantry makeover provided by Whole Foods Market.
