Raising Awareness and Educating the Community about CPR

The Cincinnati Bengals, the American Heart Association, Cintas and Kettering Health are educating our "Who Dey" community with lifesaving skills by educating fans in Hands-Only CPR.

Tuesday, October 24, 2023

Paycor Stadium

2 Sessions Available:

Session 1: 5:30 p.m.

Session 2: 6:45 p.m.

What is Hands-Only CPR?
Hand-Only CPR is a skill everyone can learn. It is as simple as calling 911 if you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse; and then pushing hard and fast in the center of the chest. Research has proven that Hands-Only CPR be equally effective as traditional CPR in the first few minutes of emergency response. Hands-Only CPR is not card credentialled CPR.

What to wear:
Remembering this is an outdoor event, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing as they will be getting on the floor to participate in the event. Participants will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting.

Doors will open 20 minutes prior to your scheduled session time.

If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please tell one of the instructors when you arrive for the course. The instructor will work to accommodate your needs.

Can children participate?

Children are welcome to attend the event however children under nine years of age may not be strong enough to perform compressions.
