Biography

In his fifth pro season in 2024, Burrow put together one of the best statistical seasons by a QB in NFL history and re-wrote the Bengals' single-season record book ... He both led the league and set Cincinnati's all-time marks in passing attempts (652), completions (460), passing yards (4918) and TD passes (43) ... He also posted the highest single-season passer rating in team history (108.5; third in NFL) and highest completion percentage (70.552; fourth in NFL) ... Was named the AP Comeback Player of the Year for the second time in his career in 2024, after previously winning the award in the '21 season ... He missed the final seven games of the 2023 season due to a wrist injury, but returned to start all 17 contests in '24 ... Holds the highest career completion percentage in NFL history (68.6; minimum 1500 passing attempts), and his 140 career TD passes are third-most ever in a player's first five seasons ... Also holds several team postseason career records, and led Cincinnati to appearance in Super Bowl LVI followed by second consecutive trip to AFC Championship in 2022 season ... Suffered season-ending knee injury midway through rookie campaign in 2020, then in '21 he led the NFL in completion percentage and yards per attempt ...
