Netflix 'Quarterback' Season Two Featuring Joe Burrow Debuts July 8

Season two of the Netflix docu-series Quarterback, featuring Bengals QB Joe Burrow, will debut July 8, the streaming service announced today.

Quarterback will give viewers exclusive access to three quarterbacks throughout the 2024-25 season both on and off the field. Burrow will join Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff and Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins on the show this season. The show will feature behind-the-scenes content of some of the most significant moments of this past season as Burrow orchestrated one of the most prolific passing offenses in league history.

Netflix followed Cousins, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and former Falcon and current Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota two years ago for season one of the series. The company followed up season one of Quarterback with a season of Receiver, following WR Deebo Samuel, TE George Kittle, WR Davante Adams, WR Justin Jefferson and WR Amon St. Brown over 2023-24.

The streaming site's success with sports storytelling has been well documented: Netflix has released seven seasons of Formula 1: Drive to Survive and three seasons of Full Swing, focusing on professional golf. Starting 5, focused on the National Basketball Association, is set to release its second season later this year. The company has also released various sports documentaries as a part of their Untold series.
