Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week award for Week 16.

Burrow set a franchise record for the most passing yards in a single game in Cincinnati's 41-21 win over the Ravens going 37-of-46 passing for 525 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Burrow broke the mark previously held by Boomer Esiason, who threw for 490 yards in an overtime game against the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 7, 1990. It was also the fourth-highest total in NFL history -- just shy of Norm Van Brocklin's 554 yards against the New York Yanks in 1951.

Three players are nominated each week for both the FedEx Air Player of the Week and Ground Player of the Week. In addition to Burrow, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills are nominated for the Air award.

Fans can vote for the winner of each award at NFL.com/FedEx. Voting is open until Wednesday at 3 p.m. They can also vote through polls published on the @NFL Twitter account and on the NFL Mobile App.
