A 2021 fourth-round pick of Bengals, the 6-2, 350-pound Shelvin was a reserve NT as a rookie and saw action in five combined games (including two in postseason) ... On depth chart as No. 3 NT all season, behind D.J. Reader and Josh Tupou ... Saw action on a combined 75 defensive snaps between regular season and postseason ... Known for being a space-eating presence on interior of line with rare blend of strength and athletic ability ... Spent three seasons (2017-19) at LSU, with redshirt year in '17 and opt-out in '20 due to COVID-19 ... In just two seasons (2018-19) of action in college, played 21 games (14 starts) and had 48 tackles, including 4.5 for losses (one sack) ...
