In 2017, he and Carolina’s Cam Newton joined Peyton Manning as the only NFL passers to hit 3000 passing yards in each of their first seven seasons ... His 25 TD passes against 12 INTs in 2017 left him with 167 TD passes and 93 INTs for his career, a ratio of 1.80-to-1, which is best in Bengals history, ahead of second-place Carson Palmer at 1.54-to-1 (154-100) ... Entering 2018, Dalton has posted 42 career games with a passer rating at 100 or above, and the Bengals’ record in those contests is 35-7 (.833) ... Led Cincinnati to the playoffs in each of his first five seasons (2011-15), joining Baltimore’s Joe Flacco as only QBs to do that in the Super Bowl era (Seattle’s Russell Wilson has since joined the list, from ’12-16) ... Was Bengals 2016 nominee for NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
