The Bengals today signed free agent DT Christian Ringo off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad and placed DT Adolphus Washington on the Reserve/Injured list.
Ringo (6-1, 298; Louisiana-Lafayette), a third-year player, originally was a sixth-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2015. He was with the Packers through the 2016 season, and then spent time with the Bengals and Lions in '17. He was inactive for one game for the Bengals last season, before being waived. This season, Ringo spent time between Dallas' roster and practice squad, and played in one game (no statistics). For his career, Ringo has played in 15 games, and has five tackles and a forced fumble.
Washington, a third-year player who had signed with the Bengals off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad on Sept. 26, suffered a knee injury in Game 9 vs. New Orleans. He played in four games for the Bengals this season and recorded six tackles, including a sack.
