Overall No. 1 pick Joe Burrow has agreed to terms, according to multiple reports Tuesday, as the Bengals' training camp continues to methodically grind on.
Burrow, the LSU quarterback who won the Heisman Trophy, has been in Cincinnati for a few weeks and was seen at a local workout on Monday. News of the four-year deal came after the Bengals' veterans reported for their initial Covid-19 testing Tuesday morning.
With Burrow in the fold, the Bengals' only unsigned rookie is second-rounder Tee Higgins, the wide receiver from Clemson, and his deal could also come as soon as Tuesday.
The Burrow deal gives them three quarterbacks, but they could be in the market for picking up a veteran as head coach Zac Taylor mulls the question of quarantining quarterbacks.
Profootballtalk.com reported he'll make about $36 million guaranteed with more than $23 million to sign in a deal the Bengals have the fifth-year option.
