Hubbard, Phillips, Ross Among Bengals Player Moves Ahead Of Week 10 At Pittsburgh

The Bengals today made the roster moves noted below. With the moves, Cincinnati's roster now stands at 54 active players for its game at Pittsburgh tomorrow.

*Activated DE Sam Hubbard from the Reserve/Injured list. Hubbard, a third-year player out of Ohio State University, had been on Reserve/Injured since Oct. 15 with an elbow injury that he suffered in Game 5 at Baltimore. He was cleared to return to practice on Tuesday. Hubbard has played in five games (all starts) this season, and has 23 tackles and a sack.

*Placed CB Darius Phillips on the Reserve/Injured list. Phillips, a third-year player out of Western Michigan University, suffered a groin injury in the Bengals' Nov. 1 game vs. Tennessee. He has played in all eight games (five starts) this season, and has 17 tackles, an INT and five PDs.

*Placed WR John Ross on the Reserve/Injured list. Ross, a fourth-year player out of the University of Washington, suffered a foot injury in practice on Thursday. He has played in three games (one start) this season, and has two catches for 17 yards.

*Elevated WR Stanley Morgan, CB Jalen Davis, G Quinton Spain and DT Kahlil McKenzie from the practice squad to the active roster for tomorrow's game at Pittsburgh. Morgan and Davis are classified as standard elevations, while Spain and McKenzie are COVID-19 replacements. As practice squad players being elevated to the active roster for the game, all four players automatically will revert to the practice squad on Monday.
