The Bengals today signed TE Jordan Franks and WR Trenton Irwin from the practice squad to the active roster, and placed CB William Jackson III on the Reserve/Injured list.

Franks, a second-year player out of the University of Central Florida, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2018. He had spent all 15 games this season on Cincinnati's practice squad. As a rookie in 2018, he played in six games, and had two catches for 37 yards.

Irwin, a rookie out of Stanford University, originally was a college free agent signee of the Miami Dolphins in May. He was waived by the Dolphins at final cuts, and then signed to the Bengals' practice squad on Oct. 3.

Jackson, a fourth-year player, suffered a right shoulder injury in last Sunday's game at Miami. He had played in 14 games (13 starts) this season, and recorded 37 tackles, an interception and three passes defensed.

Prior to these moves today, Cincinnati had one open roster spot, created when LB Sharif Finch was waived (failed physical) on Tuesday.
