The Bengals today placed DT Josh Tupou on the Reserve/Opt-Out list, and waived TE Moritz Bohringer and HB Devwah Whaley.
Tupou, a fourth-year player out of the University of Colorado, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2017. He has played in 23 career games (seven starts), and recorded 36 tackles and a forced fumble.
Bohringer, a first-year player out of Aalen, Germany, joined the Bengals in 2018 as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway program and spent the last two seasons on Cincinnati's practice squad.
Whaley, a rookie out of the University of Arkansas, had signed with the Bengals as a college free agent in April.
