Johnson entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft choice of Tampa Bay in 2008 and played in 26 games with five starts for the Bucs from ’08 through ’11. He signed with San Francisco as an unrestricted free agent for 2012, was released by the 49ers in final preseason cuts, and signed with Cleveland for the final regular season game, seeing brief action without a pass attempt. His career NFL statistics include 96 completions in 177 attempts (54.2 percent) for 1042 yards with five TDs and 10 interceptions.
