solo) in the Longhorns season opener against Maryland ... started at the rover position once against in a 56-0

Played in 11 games and made nine starts ... picked up starts against Notre Dame, UTEP, Cal, Oklahoma State,

Oklahoma, Iowa State, Kansas State, Texas Tech and West Virginia ... was third on the team with 62 tackles (42

solo) ... made 8.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks ... also had three pass breakups, three quarterback hurries and a

forced fumble ... recognized as second team All-Big 12 by the Associated Press at linebacker ... named to ESPN.

com’s All-Big 12 underclassmen team ... also named third-team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele ... started the season

opener against No. 10 Notre Dame ... tied for the team lead with eight tackles (seven solo, one assisted) ... also

had a sack in the victory ... finished with six tackles in a 41-7 week two victory over UTEP ... also had a pass

FRESHMAN  (2015)

Played in 11 games, starting nine, missing the Baylor game due to injury and was limited in two others …

Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year … finished second on the team in tackles (61), led it in pressures (six)

and was fourth in TFL (seven), while adding 2.5 sacks, three PBU, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery,

which he returned for a TD … opened his career as the second-leading tackler with nine (five solo), including

a season-high 2.5 TFL, at Notre Dame … led the team with nine tackles (six solo), including one TFL, while

setting a season high in pressures with four and returning a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown against Rice …

accumulated nine tackles versus Cal … recorded two tackles, one pressure and one PBU against Oklahoma State

… had two tackles and one PBU at TCU … collected a season-high two sacks as part of six tackles (five solo)

versus Oklahoma, earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors … registered two tackles and one-half
