Hebert has been a special teams standout for Bengals since signing in 2008 from Canadian Football League … Voted by teammates as 2009 special teams captain, and tied for second in tackles (12) while playing in 15 regular-season games and the Wild Card playoff … Led Bengals in ’08 with 23 special-teams stops … Saw his first NFL action at age 27 … Became an unsigned exclusive rights player when his contract expired after ’09 season, and re-signed with Cincinnati on 3-29-10.

CFL EXPERIENCE: 2007 - Had 53 tackles and three INTs for Winnipeg team that lost to Saskatchewan in Grey Cup game ... Also had five sacks for defense that ranked No. 2 in league in fewest yards allowed. 2006 - Acquired by Winnipeg on waivers on April 19 ... Did not join the team until season's fifth game, but started 12 of the final 14 contests ... Logged 34 tackles with two sacks, plus 23 special-teams tackles. 2005 - Led Ottawa with 66 tackles on defense and shared the league lead in special-teams stops (29) ... Also had three INTs, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one sack. 2004 - Played in all 18 games for Ottawa, recording 56 tackles on defense and 27 on special teams.
