No other Bengals DL has had more Pro Bowl selections, and Atkins is second behind CB Lemar Parrish (six) for most selections for any Bengals defensive player ... In ’15, Atkins proved to be fully back from effects of 2013 knee injury ... His 11 sacks ranked tied for first in NFL among interior linemen, and he was first among Bengals in total tackles-for-loss (17) and second in QB hits (19) ...     The only thing more notorious than Geno Atkins’ first step is his last word because there are so few of them that come before it. The guy who defensive line coach Jay Hayes calls “a man of few words,” was the talk of Bengals training camp Wednesday when he passed his physical and came off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

    When they broke in as kids, the young Bengals pass rushers called themselves "The Fisher Price Package." Now after two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins's mega $55 million extension was announced Monday, they are officially all grown up and need a new name.
