A prodigious passer and rusher at Central Michigan, LeFevour was in uniform for every Bengals game last season, as the designated third QB on the inactive list … Set in 2011 for his first Bengals training camp, as he was acquired just before the start of the ’10 regular season … Was a sixth-round 2010 draft pick by Chicago … A starter from day one at Central Michigan, he departed as the only player in NCAA major school (FBS) history with more than 12,000 career passing yards and more than 2500 career rushing yards.

2010 RECAP: Drafted by Chicago in sixth round (181st overall) … Played in all four Bears preseason games and passed 19-for-41 for 204-1-1 … Rushed for 38 yards on five carries … Acquired by Bengals on waivers on Sept. 5.

COLLEGE: Had a hand in producing an FBS-record 150 touchdowns, passing for 102 while scoring 48 himself … Rushed for a school-record 47 TDs and got one as a receiver … Career passing totals were 1171-of-1763 (66.4 percent) for 12,905 yards, 102 TDs and 35 INTs … Rushed for 2948 yards on 671 carries (4.4 avg.) … Offensive Player of the Year in the Mid-American Conference in 2009, when he threw for 28 TDs and only seven INTs, and he received 13 points in Heisman Trophy balloting … His head coach for his last three seasons was Butch Jones, now head coach at the University of Cincinnati.

PERSONAL: Hometown is Downers Grove, Ill. … Lettered four years in football and three years in basketball at Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.), where he passed for 2929 yards and had 53 total TDs (24 passing, 29 rushing) … Earned bachelor of applied arts degree from Central Michigan, posting 3.57 GPA … Last name is pronounced “le-FEE-ver.”
