Coach Robert Livingston says: “(Bengals secondary coach) Kevin Coyle came back (from his pro day workout) raving about him. We got to bring him into the building — got to talk to him and look him in the eye. He’s a really energetic, upbeat kid. He has played corner, he has played nickel, and he has played safety. He also played some running back at Houston. When it’s late in the draft, you have to jump at the chance to put a guy with that skill set on your team — a guy who has played both ways at a high level in a Division I program.”
