2009 - Scott’s 31.5-yard KOR average bested the 29.1 mark of NFL leader Clifton Smith of Tampa Bay, but Scott fell four returns short of the 20 needed to qualify for the league rankings … Saw significant time on offense in win Oct. 4 at Cleveland, rushing for 41 yards on six carries (6.8 avg.), including gains of 11 and 16 yards on the fourth-quarter TD drive that sent the game into overtime … Had the only TD of the game in win Nov. 15 at Pittsburgh, on a 96-yard kickoff return in first quarter, and his 206 total KOR yards (on five returns) ranks third in Bengals history … Also at Pittsburgh, filled in for injured Cedric Benson at RB in second half and was 13-for-33 rushing, and had a 21-yard reception … Saw most extensive action of the season Nov. 22 at Oakland, and led all rushers with 119 yards on 21 carries, including 61-yard rush in third quarter that stands as Bengals’ longest rush since 2002 … Rushed 18-for-87 on Nov. 29 vs. Cleveland, including a 21-yard gain on a first-and-20 play on Cincinnati’s only TD drive … In Wild Card playoff 1-9-10 vs. N.Y. COLLEGE: Posted mind-boggling numbers in two seasons (2007-08) at Abilene Christian and won the 2008 Harlon Hill Award (the NCAA Division II “Heisman”) … Rushed for 4321 career yards (2165 followed by 2156) and scored 73 touchdowns (63 rushing and 10 receiving) … Averaged 8.6 yards per rush as a junior and 8.1 yards as a senior … His season-low game rushing total in 2008 was 116 yards, and he had three games over 250 … Began his college career at Central Arkansas in 2004 and played at Blinn JC in Brenham, Texas, in ’06 … Did not play football in 2005, due to off-field issues.
