BENGALS 1994 SUMMARY
The Bengals lost their first eight games of the season. With quarterbacks David Klingler and Erik Wilhelm sidelined with injuries, third-string QB Jeff Blake started in Game 8 against two-time defending Super Bowl champion Dallas and nearly pulled off an upset before losing, 23-20. Blake kept his starting role for the rest of the season, passing for 2154 yards and 14 TDs. The Bengals finished 3-13.

1994 NEWS AND NOTES
On Nov. 6, the Bengals won on the road without a TD for the only time in team history. Cincinnati used K Doug Pelfrey's club-record six field goals (36, 44, 36, 47, 28, 26) plus a safety by LB-DE Alfred Williams to post a 20-17 overtime victory at Seattle.
