June 15, 2006 - Tenable Event Services is proud to announce that they have been selected as the successful bidder to provide security and guest services event staff for Paul Brown Stadium and the Cincinnati Bengals. Eric Brown, managing director for Paul Brown Stadium and Bill Connelly, business manager for the Cincinnati Bengals made the announcement in early May that Tenable was awarded a multi-year contract over several national and local event staffing and security companies.
"Based on the success of their operations for the Cleveland Browns and the fan base that attends those emotionally charged games, Tenable was hands down the favorite coming into the start of this project," Brown said. "Football is an essential art of both cities' history and the fans have a unique way of demonstrating their excitement at times.
"After reviewing their credentials, procedures and speaking with their managers we knew we had a team that was going to help us make our stadium shine with pride. Simply said, we needed a service that knows security procedures and can deliver exemplary customer service. We are more than happy to have a team like Tenable on hand to help us through an exciting 2006 season."
When all is said and done, Tenable's Event and Protective Services divisions will employ approximately 600 new security and event staff personnel for major events such as concerts, soccer games, and most importantly Bengals football games. Along with this staff, Tenable's management team will be comprised of approximately 30 new persons and 40 existing Tenable managers.
