For the fifth time this season the NFL on Wednesday gave the Bengals an extension, in part, because of Christmas and the club has until 1 p.m. Saturday to sell out Sunday's 1 p.m. home regular-season finale against the Chiefs so it will be televised locally. If this season's trend continues, what amounts to a 48-hour extension will be followed by the club's 52nd straight sellout and sixth straight sold-out season.
That would put the Bengals' bid to clinch the AFC North title live on CBS affiliates Channel 12 in Cincinnati, Channel 7 in Dayton, Ohio, and Channel 27 in Lexington, Ky.
To purchase tickets, fans may call the Bengals Ticket Hotline at 866-621-TDTD (8383). The Hotline will be Christmas Eve until 5 p.m., closed Friday for Christmas, and re-opens o Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
