» With Shayne Graham in the building, Bengals kicker Mike Nugent was three out of four on field goals and tacked on an extra point during Sunday’s 24-16 loss to the Ravens that broke Graham’s club scoring record set in 2005 with 131.

Nugent finished 33-of-38 on field goals and had 132 points, also breaking Graham’s 2007 record of 31 field goals set in 2007. Graham kicked for the Ravens last week with Billy Cundiff nursing a calf injury, but the Ravens made Graham inactive Sunday and went with Cundiff.

» Pro Bowl rookie receiver A.J. Green had two catches for the second game in a row and finished with 65 for the season, falling two short of Cris Collinsworth’s club rookie record. But Green’s 1,057 yards is the new rookie record.

» Rookie quarterback Andy Dalton finished with 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions and had neither Sunday. His 80.4 passer rating was slightly higher than Carson Palmer’s first season in 2004 when he had a 77.3 rating on 18 TDs and 18 interceptions in 13 games.

» The Bengals have had a tough time stopping the run in season finales. Ravens running back Ray Rice’s 191 yards on 24 carries led Baltimore's 221-yard attack, the most the Bengals have allowed since the Jets rushed for 257 in the 2009 finale. It was the most yards one back has rushed for against a Mike Zimmer defense since he arrived as defensive coordinator in 2008 and the most an opponent has rushed against the Bengals since Jamal Lewis of the Browns ripped them for 216 yards in Cleveland on Sept. 16, 2007.

Larry Johnson went for 201 yards against the Bengals six years to the day in Kansas City in the finale when Cincinnati was tuning up for the ’05 playoffs. Browns running back Lee Suggs prevented the Bengals from having a winning season in head coach Marvin Lewis’s first season of ’03 when he went for 186 yards on 26 carries.
