Peko provides Christmas to remember

!

Domata and Anna Peko and 10 Cincinnati Bengals gave the children of St. Monica's Recreation Center a Christmas they will never forget.

Joined with Rich and Sharon Thompson, Johnny Rockets restaurant owners, 50 children were blessed with a warm, satisfying meal, a festive, memorable holiday event, and a pack of toys bigger than even Santa could haul. This included Nintendo 3DS players for all the kids, Barbie makeup stations for the girls, and bikes for the kids whose attitudes and behavior had most improved.

The Pekos donated a 55" television, XBox 360 with 20 games, Wii with 20 games and numerous balls to the St. Monica's Recreation Center. The kids had their Johnny Rockets T-shirts autographed by the Bengals players, and left with bags full of goodies, such as Etch-A-Sketch and YoYos.

But all this fun wasn't just for one night. Peko, along with several of his Bengals teammates also purchased a ticket for each kid to the Cardinals-Bengals game on Dec. 24 and transported these kids via limousine to Paul Brown Stadium for the game.
