Open Letter to Fans: Bengals Support Music Venue

Dear Bengals Fans,

As the City and County consider further development on The Banks, the Bengals have had productive conversations about what will make The Banks an energetic and exciting place in Cincinnati while continuing to allow the other parts of The Banks, including the stadia, to operate in a great way for the fans.

The City and County have received proposals to put a music venue somewhere between the Suspension Bridge and Paul Brown Stadium. Although each proposal is different, they hope to attract approximately 160 concerts each year at a venue that can hold about 3,000 people.

The Bengals support a music venue and think it would be a great addition to the downtown area.

The Club believes the best location for the music venue would be on Lot 24, above the parking structure located on Freedom Way between Race St. and Rosa Parks St.

This location is closer to bars and restaurants and preserves much needed surface parking that gives fans a place to tailgate and allows the stadium to operate smoothly on game days.

We will continue to have conversations with Hamilton County commissioners and administration as well as representatives of the music venue developer, the City, residential and retail establishments on The Banks and the Joint Banks Steering Committee in an effort to play a productive role in getting the music venue up and running.

Thank you for your support of the team. Who Dey!

Sincerely,
The Cincinnati Bengals
