VOTE HERE: Green-Ellis for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week

Green-Ellis

Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been recognized by the NFL for his efforts in last Sunday's 28-6 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Green-Ellis is one of three finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week along with Cardinals RB Larod Stephens-Howling and Buccaneers RB Doug Martin.

Green-Ellis rushed for 101 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown to register his first 100-yard game as a member of the Bengals in leading his team to its second consecutive win.

Bengals fans can vote for Green-Ellis now through Friday, November 23 at 3 p.m. ET to determine the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week. The winner will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

Fans will be voting for more than their favorite player. As part of the Air & Ground program and its commitment to small business owners, FedEx will support education efforts at Junior Achievement by making weekly $2,000 donations in each of the winning players’ names. The funding, allocated to local Junior Achievement area offices in that team’s city or state, is used to help U.S. small business development, by educating the next generation of entrepreneurs on how to start and grow their own businesses.

  • Willie still paving the way

How fitting that on Wednesday Willie Anderson anchors the next-to-last installment of the vote choosing the Bengals’ top 50 players of all-time. Anderson, the franchise’s all-time right tackle, comes in at No. 14, just behind his right guard, Max Montoya at No. 13, and, even more fitting, just ahead of Corey Dillon at No. 15. Dillon, the club’s all-time rusher, ripped off 8,061 yards in 107 games and Anderson was his right tackle in 106 of them in those days the Bengals were also-rans who could run at will and behind Willie and Dillon is right with him again.
