Bengals 2018 TV and Radio Broadcast Teams

BENGALS PRESEASON TV NETWORK

Play-by-play broadcaster Mike Watts joins Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz in the booth for Bengals preseason television games this season. This will be Munoz's 21st season as preseason analyst. Mike Valpredo returns as sideline reporter for his 14th season.

Watts has covered a variety of sports, including broadcast experience with ESPN, SEC Network, Major League Soccer, CONCACAF and various colleges and conferences. Watts grew up in Ohio, before moving to New York to attend Fordham University. 

Munoz was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998, his first year of eligibility. The eleven-time Pro Bowler earned All-Pro honors every season from 1981-91. Munoz, who played in both Bengals' Super Bowl games, received the NFL's Man of the Year Award in 1991.

The Bengals Preseason TV Network will broadcast the Bengals games against the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Aug. 9 (7 p.m.), against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday, Aug. 18 (7 p.m.) and against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, Aug. 30 (7 p.m.). The Bengals preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Aug. 26 (4 p.m.) will be nationally televised by FOX.

For the 30th time in the past 31 years, Cincinnati's WKRC-TV (CBS Local 12) is the flagship station of the Bengals Preseason TV Network. Also on the network are WKEF-TV (ABC Ch. 22) in Dayton, WSYX-TV (ABC Ch. 6) in Columbus, WLIO-TV (FOX Ch. 8.2) in Lima, WDKY-TV (FOX Ch. 56) in Lexington and WDRB-TV (FOX Ch. 41) in Louisville.

BENGALS RADIO NETWORK

Dan Hoard and Dave Lapham return to the radio booth for Bengals games this season.

Hoard, a former sports director and broadcaster on WXIX-TV (FOX 19) in Cincinnati, is in his eighth season as the radio play-by-play voice. He also is the radio voice of University of Cincinnati football and basketball, and he has prior experience as the play-by-play voice on Bengals preseason TV.

Dave Lapham, a Bengals offensive lineman from 1974-83, is in his 33rd consecutive season as the analyst on the team's radio broadcasts. In past years, Lapham has been an analyst for NFL games on both NBC and FOX, Big 12 games on FOX and the NFL Europe League's World Bowl game on Sporting News Radio.

Wayne Box Miller joins the radio broadcast team as pregame and postgame host. Miller will continue to serve as a recurring guest host for Bengals Pep Rally, which airs on ESPN 1530 on Friday afternoons throughout the season. His credits include producer and host of the award winning Prime Time Sports Show on radio and he was part of the inaugural Sports Rock TV show. In addition, he opined *The Box Seat *sports column in print and online platforms. Miller is a graduate of Morehead State University, and was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2007.

Games will be aired this season on the Bengals Radio Network, led by three flagship stations in the Cincinnati market. All games will be carried by Cincinnati's ESPN 1530 and WEBN-FM (102.7). Once the Major League Baseball season is over, games also will be aired on WLW-AM (700).
