THIS WEEK'S TASTY RECIPE (OCTOBER 14, 2007) |
GRAHAM'S "KICKN" ROSE MARY-LEMON PORK STEAKS
(Rose Mary Lemon Marinade) 1 Can frozen lemonade, concentrate, thawed 1/4-cup Rose Mary 1 Tbs. chop garlic 1/4-cup olive oil 1 Tbs. chop parsley 4 Pork loin rib steak – 1 inch thick (2lbs) Salt and pepper to taste *Mix all ingredients*
1. Prepare rose Mary lemon marinade 2. Pour marinade over pork in shallow nonmetal dish on reseal able plastic bag, turn pork to coat with marinade. Cover dish on seal bag and refrigerate, turning once, at least 1 hour but no longer than 2 hours. 3. Brush grill rack with vegetable oil 4. Prepare grill for medium heat 5. Drain pork and grill 12 to 16 minutes, turning once and brushing with reserved marinade, until slightly pink when cut near bone 6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve (discard marinade after use) |

ABOUT THE MIDNIGHT GOURMET
In recent years, Nick has been dedicated to teaching others the art of classical cooking. He has been a featured writer for several magazines and newspapers. In 1998, he launched "Denova" - a company that created a popular local cable television program called The Midnight Gourmet.
The show was nominated by Access Awards and featured in the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Business Courier, the Cincinnati Post, Herald Newspapers, as well as City Beat, and Everybody's News magazines.
In 2001, The Midnight Gourmet was picked up by BET (Black Entertainment Television) on Jazz to be broadcast nationally and internationally. In 2001, Denova also debuted a popular radio show, "Recipes for Romance" that has the same innovations and high standards of romantic cooking as the "Midnight Gourmet."
