Youth Football Camps
High School Player Development
HSPD provides incoming high school sophomores through seniors a program that focuses on character development and specific football skill training by position. Through our program, each participant will gain full awareness of what is necessary to become a successful collegiate student-athlete.
The program contains two specific elements - character development and on-field training. The first day of the program commits coaches to discuss character issues in small group sessions for a 3-hour period as well as distribute student planners in order to assist players with time-management. The other four days allow players to split time focusing on one offensive and one defensive position on the field.

Junior Player Development
The NFL JPD program, developed in 1998, is an instructional football camp for children ages 12-14 in underserved communities. The program provides step-by-step instruction for every position on both offense and defense in a fun and engaging atmosphere. It also serves as a feeder system for high school football programs that may not have organized football in nearby junior high schools.
JPD integrates on-field skills development with life skills and character development. As youngsters plan for future high school interscholastic activities, participants receive instruction from NFL-selected high school coaches, as well as counseling that focuses around a variety of life skills, such as responsibility, goal-setting, sportsmanship, self-control, smart moves, and teamwork. Each life skill addressed through the context of football allows coaches to make the connection between life skills as they are applied on the field, in school, at home and in the community.
In addition, through a youth coach's development program that provides hours of practical training, coaches learn how to properly teach all position fundamentals as well as how to creatively and effectively apply life skill messages.
The following are Junior Player Development camps currently available in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas (all camps are FREE of charge and open to boys and girls ages 11-14). Parent authorization (waiver) is required and a physical form must be completed. All necessary equipment is provided. No experience necessary
